Behavior & Inclusion Policy

  • Description text goes hereThe majority of our students enrol online - go to the Kids' Classes tab on the menu bar. Choose what you are looking for and then click Class Registration button

This is by far the easiest way to register!

Bookings can also be made by email. Simply email us at support@kalinaartstudio.com

  • Description text goes hereYes.

After the start of a semester fees are simply adjusted on a pro-rated basis.

Our online booking system shows our availability in real time. This means that if a class displays a 'book now' or 'login to enrol' button then there are still places available. As soon as the last place in the class is filled, it will automatically display 'join waitlist'. Our system does not show classes that have limited places, so if you would like to enquire about how many places are still available please email our office.

  • Description text goes hereYes, we do offer the option of a waitlist for our classes. Our system operates on an 'opt in' policy for each semester. As each new semester opens for enrolments (usually 4-6 weeks before it starts) all class places open up and spots are booked on a 'first come, first served basis' for the following term.

  • We are located in downtown Papillion, NE. Our address is 122 N. Washington St. Papillion, NE 68046

  • Item descriptionalina Art Studio is a storefront space open in the beautiful downtown area of Papillion. It is a fully working art studio, a flexible and carefully curated space offering a creative venue to enjoy your workshops or private events.

    Kalina Art Studio has:

    • 24 x art easels

    • 24 wooden chairs

    • 4 x 6ft tables to seat 24

    • 3 x 4ft tables are also available

    • 3 x side tables are also available

    • art sink for clean up

    • kitchen area: microwave and a kettle

    • a small lobby in the front for parents to wait for their children

    • Spotify premium and speaker

The studio is located in the building dated to 1885 and, sadly, there is no possible way to add an all ability bathroom or a wheelchair ramp. The front entrance has 3 rounded steps and the back door is too narrow for a wheelchair. We feel very bad about this, but, again, there is nothing that could be done to accommodate for all abilities in our current location.

Bathrooms: we have a small bathroom in the back.

  • Since we are located in downtown our parking is spread out. You can always park right in front of the building. If there are no spaces left, there is public parking on both sides of the block.

  • Item descriptionKalina Art Studio kids classes, parties, and workshops recommended as 'drop and go' as there is limited additional space within the studio for adults to wait. We also find having waiting parents can affect the behavior of the children. Of course if your child suffers from anxiety please let us know and we will work together to accommodate their needs.

Families and guests are welcome to wait in the front lobby, but it is rather small with only one small bench. We recommend the fabulous shops located on the block. Check out the Tea Shop, Abby's Corner, the Bookworm or grab a couple of tacos from the Taco Guy. Across the street from us you will find Graley's Creamery & Confections and Papillion Public Library. Papio Trail is also within the walking distance from the studio. Grab your pooch and go for a little stroll.

  • Most kids classes are capped at 8-9 students. Events and workshops that require painting or project making are capped at 16. If it's not a "making" event, it is capped at 24.

    Maximum capacity is 26.

  • If your class was cancelled due to the teacher's sickness or inclement weather, a make-up class will be scheduled at the end of the semester.

If your child misses a class due to sickness or other reasons, your teacher will try their best to help them catch up during following classes. Sadly, this is not always possible since classes are very dynamic and often use different materials. In that case the student will take their unfinished project home.

  • Item descriptionWe would love to host your celebration.

    - Birthdays, anniversaries', Moms group, friends night out - you create the event we will create the FUN.

We can book subject to availability and require a $75 deposit to secure your booking. Sip and Paint, watercolor, mandalas, book making, vision boards, etc let us know what you are looking for and we will work out the rest.

  • To put it simply, art can be messy. We have aprons for everyone to use but this may not stop accidents happening, so our advice is come in old clothes. For kids classes we suggest changing out of school uniform or just slipping on an old shirt or T-shirt.

Acrylic paint is a fantastic quality art material but it does stain fabrics and shoes. In the event of an accidental stain try to treat with pure acetone. It might just work.

The children are to come in COVERED shoes to avoid accidents to toes!

Sip and Paint for adults please hang your gorgeous jackets, coats etc on the coat rack in the lobby by the front door to avoid accidental damage.

Kalina Art Studio does not accept liability to soiled clothes or personal property.
